Ages

8-10 years old

Early October to late February

Early practices will be at other local indoor rinks (Somerset, Amery). Once we have home ice, all practices will be there.

Usually 2-3 nights per week, 1 hour each night.

Our Squirt team will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.

RVHA does have some equipment for Squirts to use if the right size is available.

Jerseys will be provided for the season and returned to RVHA.

There should not be any additional fees outside of registration for the Squirt season. Ice time, jerseys, and tournament fees are covered by RVHA.

USA Hockey is requiring neck guards for all youth hockey players participating in games and practices.

Does my child need to know how to play hockey?

No. Our coaches will be available to teach the game of hockey.
