Jersey Policy

Jersey Inventory:
RVHA to keep a minimum of 20 jersey sets available for each age group (mite level 2 and up).
RVHA to purchase additional jerseys as needed for teams with more than 20 players.
RVHA to keep a minimum of 20 maroon only jerseys available for the mite level 1 age group. RVHA to purchase additional jerseys as needed.
Jerseys will be purchased by RVHA.
Price to be evaluated each year and RVHA board may opt for new supplier as needed.
Jersey numbers will start with 1 and go up numerically as needed (no special numbers will be allowed).
Nameplates or any other decals will not be allowed on RVHA jerseys

Jersey Distribution:
Jerseys will be distributed to players prior to first game.
Jerseys to be distributed on a first come first serve bases with consideration being given to player size and possibility of player participating on multiple teams.
Jersey numbers must be recorded and submitted to equipment manager immediately after distribution.

Jersey Return:
Jerseys will be returned to team manager at the last game of each year. Team manager is responsible for returning jerseys to equipment manager.
Jersey must be cleaned prior to return. Jerseys requiring cleaning will result in invoice of cost of cleaning sent to player.
Equipment manager and committee staff will evaluate jerseys for damage.
Equipment manager to supply damage report to RVHA board for disposition prior to May 1.
Any damage that RVHA board deems excessive will result in an invoice being sent to player for replacement cost of jerseys.
Any jerseys not returned prior to annual banquet/meeting will result in invoice being sent to player for replacement cost of jerseys.

Jersey Maintenance:
Equipment Manager will be responsible for storage of jerseys during off-season at RVHA board approved location.
Any damage will be repaired prior to Aug. 1.
Any replacements needed will be ordered prior to Aug. 1.
Additional jerseys will be ordered on an as needed basis.
RVHA will budget jersey replacement money each year. RVHA board must approve any additional costs.
RVHA will not be responsible for personal jersey purchases.
Personal jerseys are not to be used for any RVHA game.
