Association positions
Ever wonder who keeps the lights on and the pucks dropping? It's ALL of us! River Valley Hockey is a 100% volunteer run organization. While we work as a team to keep our players busy chasing dreams on the ice, we do need a few MVPs to work behind the scenes.
Some positions are currently filled but a few members are open to switching positions to create the best team possible!

Board positions
The General Manager (President)
The ultimate strategist and culture-builder. You set the vision for the organization, lead board meetings (the "war room"), and ensure every "prospect" has a world-class experience.
The Neutral Zone (Vice President)
The master of keeping things in check. You assist the GM, manage special projects and ensure no issues catch us "offside".
The Salary Cap Specialist (Treasurer)
The financial mastermind who keeps the team under the cap. You handle budgeting, track the "biscuits" (funds), and ensure our "hockey ops" budget is scouted perfectly to keep the money allocated where it matters most…the kids! (experience preferred)
The Playmaker (Secretary)
Great at keeping the ‘game plan’ (meeting minutes) organized and ensuring communication flows perfectly between all members of the association from board to bench to bleachers.
The Roster Wrangler (Registrar)
The "Head Scout" of paperwork. You’re the first point of contact for new recruits, ensuring every player is rostered, eligible, and ready for the first puck drop.
The Locker Room Leader (Culture Liaison)
The "glue" of the association. You promote positive sportsmanship, recruit volunteers, and make sure the rink remains a "mistake-friendly" zone for every child.
The Hat Trick Hero (Fundraising + Events)
The high-scorer of the board. You secure sponsorships and lead the "Power Play" events that keep our registration fees low and our gear top-tier.
The Rink Guru (Grounds + Maintenance)
You are the architect of the "Big Stage." While the players focus on the puck, you focus on the environment that makes the game possible.
Additional positions
The Ice Commander (Ice Scheduler)
The ultimate puzzle master. You manage the complex choreography of ice times and games, ensuring every team gets their shift.
The Gear Guardian (Equipment Manager)
The wizard of the locker room. You manage the "buckets" (helmets) and jerseys, ensuring our players look like pros every time they hit the ice.
The Hype Man (Social Media)
The voice of the team. You capture the "cellys" (celebrations), post the highlights, and make sure every family knows where the puck is headed next.
The Digital Goal-Cam (Webmaster + Tech)
You manage the website and app keeping the virtual rink running.
